Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of the Classic Chino Concrete and Masonry website, starting from our home page, and any estimate or work you request through it. By using the site or asking us for an estimate, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

When we do work at your house, we put the job in a written contract or signed estimate. If that document says something different from this page, the signed document controls for that job.

What we do

Classic Chino Concrete and Masonry is a masonry contractor in Chino, CA. We build and repair brick, block, stone and concrete work, including walls, walkways, driveway pavers, chimneys, fireplaces, foundations and outdoor kitchens, for homeowners in Chino and the cities around it. You can read more about our crew on our about page.

The service descriptions on this site are general. They explain how this kind of work usually goes and are not a promise about any one job, because every house, soil condition and existing structure is different.

Estimates and pricing

We give free on-site estimates, and asking for one puts you under no obligation. Your estimate is based on what we can see and measure at your house on the day we visit, so it lists the work, the materials and the price for that scope.

Some conditions only show up once the job is open, like a cracked footing under a wall, rotted framing behind old brick or a buried pipe where we planned to dig. If we find something like that, we stop, show you what we found and give you the change in price in writing before we do the extra work.

Any price on an estimate holds for the time the estimate states. After that, material costs may have moved, so we may need to update it before we schedule.

Scheduling and cancellation

We set a start date with you once the contract is signed and any required deposit is paid. Dates can shift because of weather, material delivery, permit timing or concrete and mortar that need time to cure, and we'll tell you as soon as we know a date is moving.

If you need to reschedule or cancel, call us at (909) 479-6261 as early as you can. Materials we have already ordered or had cut for your job, and work already done, may be charged as the contract states. Any cancellation rights the law gives you still apply.

Payment terms

Your contract sets out the deposit, any progress payments and the final payment, along with when each one is due. Final payment is due when the work in the contract is complete.

If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's made, and the contract may add the late charges or collection costs that the law allows. Payments on our site, if any, are handled by outside payment services under their own terms.

Warranties and what they don't cover

We're licensed and insured, and our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. Any workmanship warranty for your job is the one written in your contract, and its length and terms are the ones stated there.

Masonry and concrete are natural materials, so some things are normal and not defects. These include hairline shrinkage cracks in concrete, white efflorescence on brick or block, and color and texture differences between batches of stone, brick or pavers. A warranty also doesn't cover damage from ground movement, water that drains onto the work, tree roots, impacts, misuse or changes someone else makes later.

The website itself is provided as is. We try to keep it accurate, but we don't promise that every page is complete, current or free of errors.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, Classic Chino Concrete and Masonry isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using this website or relying on its general information. For work at your house, our responsibility is the one set out in your contract and in the law, and it is never more than the amount you paid for the work in question.

Nothing on this page limits any right you have that the law doesn't allow a business to limit.

Using this website

The text, photos and other content on this site belong to Classic Chino Concrete and Masonry or are used with permission. You can view and share pages for your own use, but please don't copy or republish them for business purposes without asking us first.

Please don't use the site or our contact form to send spam, harmful code or false information. Links to outside sites are there for your convenience, and we're not responsible for what those sites say or do.

If we disagree

If you have a problem with our work or a bill, call or write to us first, because most issues get settled fastest by talking them through on site. If we can't settle it that way, we'll both consider mediation before going to court.

If a dispute goes to court, it will be heard in the courts serving San Bernardino County, California, unless the law requires a different place or the matter belongs in small claims court.

Governing law

These terms, and any work we do for you, are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to rules that would apply another state's law.

Changes to these terms

We may update this page from time to time. The version posted here when you use the site is the one that applies, and changes don't alter a contract you have already signed with us.

Questions about these terms

If anything here is unclear, call us at (909) 479-6261 or send a note through our contact page, and we'll explain it before you decide anything.
